I suffered a heart attack in 2001 and was rushed to hospital where the medical staff failed to revive me. Once they had stopped and were about to declare me dead my heart started beating again. They put me on a ventilator for a while and some time later I regained consciousness. To say I was ‘not very well’ is something of an understatement. But I am (mostly) fine now and sporting a pacemaker to keep me ticking along.
